Reformation of community park in Filothei, Athens, Greece
*in collaboration with:
D. Gkirti and M. Pitsiladi
A new topography is created. Its aim is to recycle the rainwater by collecting and guiding it into configured basins inside the new park. All the extracted soil is used to form new artificial hills in the edges of the park providing acoustic an optical isolation from the nearby avenue. The ambulatory character of the area is enhanced. The park is the platform, where activities like walk, running, cycling e.t.c., are hosted. A study has been made regarding the plantation evolution in time.
